The well supported Manor Theater is directly across the road and houses the art centre. We are a non-smoking establishment where you may eat, drink and sleep smoke-free. All guests have access to a plentiful supply of books and board games.Each room has a colour TV , en-suite or private bathroom, hair dryer, storage and tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided daily. Our sausages, bacon are locally produced and our eggs local and free range. The suppliers are Devon Rose of Seaton for the meat and Random Poultry of Farringdon near Exeter for the eggs.

Award winning, locally made produce is used in our breakfast menu. All cooked food is freshly prepared each morning and good things are worth waiting for (slow food, there are two sittings). Vegetarian meals can be catered for with advance warning. If you need to leave early in the morning with no time for breakfast ... no problem, we can provide a room only service at a reduced cost.

We are now listed in the Alistair Sawday's English Bed and Breakfast directory, the first B&B in Sidmouth

Enjoy a day in your own beach hut overlooking the wonderful Jacob's Ladder. Explore the rock pools at low tide and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. Rose Cottage has a beach hut available for hire at £8.00 per day from May to September.

Parking at Rose Cottage is free but only available by arrangement as we have two spaces, so first come first served. Book a space when you reserve your room (it should be noted that a degree of flexibility is required when parking at Rose Cottage).
